"Quiet Strength" is a 4 track album. 4 mystical hymns to life, to connection between men and nature.
The music ideas were found during quarantine (April 2020), where everything was peaceful in the studio.
It features highly atmospheric music, mainly electric (rock), with kind of meditative elements thanks to hypnotic melodies, and of course my signature epic guitar leads.
It's not strictly instrumental, yet vocals have been less used, the lyrics were thought to be like mantras.
I created these songs to inspire and give strength. Both to others and myself.
Strength to get through life, to move forward and discover new impetus. We can find the answer within ourselves, and by taking inspiration from nature.
That's why the album is built around the theme of the river, which flows and goes its way without ever looking back, despite the obstacles it encounters.
The shaman draws his power from the elements as the artist draws his from the words or melodies. Then each share all of this with his community.

It was a quiet morning of summer.
The heat had been overwhelming the day before on the high plains.
It was not entirely back at this early hour of the day, but it had not completely faded either during the night. It was a quiet morning of summer.

Down in the valley, hidden behind a dense vegetation made of millenium trees, large and thick pine trees, the man was in his element.
You can imagine a woman as well. Long hair, symbolic painting on the body, loose clothing with natural colors, many jewels reflecting light, and what seemed to be a scepter.
His feet in the water, in a pose providing a perfect picture of a shaman.
The scenery was picturesque, unveiling the intimacy of a mysterious moment, taking place in a place and time which seemed to have dissipated.
The running water, quivering on the pebbles with a rolling sound, resonating in the pines, magnified by the surrounding hills which formed a sort of arena, reverberating the music of the elements in a profound mystical atmosphere.
The river was making its way in the landscape, tirelessly, without any worry at all.
Looking at the deep gorge it has carved out over time, at the eroded rocks covered with mosses, it seemed it has been around since forever.
This human being seemed out of time, his arms raised to the sky, he slowly looked deeply to rough water stream, powerful yet serene. He seemed to be invoking the elements to appropriate their force.
The quiet and determined strength of the river, which in the turmoil as well as in tranquility, will follow its own destiny in every possible way. Holding wisdom and perseverance.
The shaman became the river, immersing himself in its story and spirituality. A path which, despite constraints and obstacles in the form of rocks and fallen trees, will always follow its course towards the sea.
What if we were like this river, if each obstacle gave us more strength and character to go beyond ourselves ?
